The G550 4x4 Squared is a luxury off-road vehicle from Mercedes-Benz powered by a 4.0-litre V8 with 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Mated to a standard four-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission, that's enough power to drive the G550 from 0-60 mph in less than seven seconds. Outfitted with everything from carbon-fiber fender flares to adjustable KW dual-tube coilover suspension, the 4x4² is packaged to both look and perform the part. This G550 comes in a Black exterior with Black interior Leather and Alcantara along with Carbon Fiber trims everywhere.



The G's interior does have its share of Mercedes-Benz opulence and useful technology. 4x4²-branded heated and vented microsuede seats with adjustable bolstering and swaths of tightly woven carbon fiber. The most prominent feature is its height. The G550 4×4 has almost 18" of ground clearance. That's more than twice that of the G-Class it's based on. A lot of that comes from the Mercedes G550 4×4 Squared's portal axles, which the 6×6 also featured. The mechanisms at each of the 4×4's wheels allow the axles to ride above the wheels' centers. This allows for even greater ground clearance and keeps important components like the differentials and driveshaft from getting damaged. The 4×4 Squared also comes with the 6×6's dual-shock suspension.



The 4-wheel Electronic Traction System includes a synchronized transfer case and three electrically engaged differential locks. The G-Class is loaded with standard luxury features such as leather interior, carbon fiber trim, HDD navigation system, smart device integration, bi-xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, dual-zone climate control, and heated/cooled power driver and passenger seats with memory. Standard safety equipment includes smartphone integration, anti-lock brakes, brake assist, electronic stability control and side-curtain airbags.
